I was reading last night about the EU/ UK plans for eliminating imports of Russian oil. They are nuts.
If they proceed as planned, Europe and the UK are toast. Right now where I am in the UK, a litre of diesel is +/- 1.90. If I were a betting man I would be laying a bet on that price being 2.50 by Christmas. Mid-February this year I paid 1.50.
The demand destruction could be immense. Are the leaders of the EU/ UK really that stupid they don't realise this? Essential services will simply grind to a halt. As will industry.
