@Whitehat - one question I have after reading your analysis is, what is and what will be the relationship between Russia and Eastern Europe? At the moment, at least my country has taken a firm anti-Russian stance. Even our president, who before the war was considered pro-Russian, now calls for war crimes tribunals against the Russians. I am not an expert on foreign relations in the region, but I think Poland is not too friendly to Russia, the Baltics are not, Bulgaria and Romania seem to have really embraced their NATO membership ... The main allies of Russia in the region, as far as I know, are Belorussia, Serbia, and maybe North Macedonia? I am not sure about Moldova. People talk about Hungary being friendly to Russia, but the relationship seems more expedient and limited than "friendly". And with Sweden and Finland now allying themselves with NATO, that's two more countries near Russia that are not on friendly terms. One elderly Czech to told me: "Nothing good ever comes from the East."
