Cv19 peaks in 6 month cycles in South Africa. Even though they tried lockdowns, much of the country is rural and would not have bothered. Their junk-jab rollout has also been slow. This may represent what a fairly free virus expression could look like.
Some other countries seem to moving towards a seasonal pattern as well. The US may end up this way. Worldometers suggests a July-Aug-Sept wave, hopefully of low magnitude. Probably a bit less than your annual flu peak?
US annual influenza and pneumonia average figures around 66,211 deaths.
If your front line doctors are left to treat outpatients, and keep them away from the hospitals, then the death counts can hopefully be normal, or less.
The lockdowns and vaccinations have moved the virus peaks around, but once they back off, then a seasonal trend will probably establish itself. Like every other circulating corona virus throughout history.
