Well, I'm totally bummed now. As of this morning, our daughter and son in law caved and got the first jab. This is really surprising to me, as they are parents who have not vaccinated their kids, which I think is pretty stupid. I guess the propaganda is just too strong. They said they didn't want to take a chance to infect the great grandfather, who they are going to visit in a few weeks. They evidently listen to fake news, and believe that the unvexxed ones are putting the vexxed ones in danger, when it is probably the other way around. My husband caved to it, and had his 2 jabs 2-3 months ago. Our son and myself are the only ones in the family now that haven't fallen for it. A couple of other vexxed folks I know came down with the "delta variant" after attending a super-spreader event wedding in California.

I'm way past saying anything about this shit to friends and family, so I just shake my head and say, "wow, sorry, I thought the vexxines would be effective".

A discussion also came up this morning about how they test to determine if you have the delta variant, vs the OG covid, vs epsilon variant, or WTF variant. I have not read anywhere about how they know what flavor "variant" it is, or are they just blowing smoke out their ass and calling it delta variant to scare everyone? That is my guess, but of course, I am not saying a word to anyone that brings it up.
