There is another Atlantic article that is very insightful about the mindset of the pandemic pushers. Read it and weep, for this is the intellectual / emotional chasm that exists. Truth doesn't matter. Only ideology.

The author admits hiding in his basement and dutifully following government orders, believing he is saving the world. He then observes:

"the no-vaxxers I spoke with just dont care. Theyve traveled, eaten in restaurants, gathered with friends inside, gotten COVID-19 or not gotten COVID-19, survived, and decided it was no big deal. Whats more, theyve survived while flouting the advice of the CDC, the WHO, Anthony Fauci, Democratic lawmakers, and liberals, whom they dont trust to give them straight answers on anything virus-related."

That is an honest assessment of those who live in reality. We have lived our lives as much as normal as we could, and we are still alive! The "sky is falling" rhetoric was wrong!

Does the author then recognize that Covid is not the plague? No! He then opines on better ways to coerce people and force them to get a shot they don't want or need!

Unbelievable, but believable. Communism is so easy to justify once one decides the freedom of others is inconvenient to you.
