There was an expected swine flu pandemic in 1976 that they prepared lots of vaccines for. They rolled them out and a bunch of people got Gillian-Barre Syndrome from them. This ended the swine flu vaccine effort for 1976.
How does the adverse reaction rate for the covid-19 vaccines compare to that of the 1976 swine flu vaccine? I would think this comparison, assuming that the covid-19 ones are worse, would also be useful information for any of us who end up resorting to lawsuits against employers or other institutions in our lives.
