True story.

So ivermectin for prophylaxis 0.2 mg/kg once a month? Is that the protocol?

Franco:
Prophylaxis for high risk individuals
0.2 mg/kg* one dose on day 1 and day 3, then take one dose every 4 weeks
* ≈ 0.09 mg/lb per dose (take on an empty stomach with water). Example for a
person of 60kg (body weight): 60kg 0.2mg = 12mg please see conversion table
(kglbs) on page 2 to calculate the appropriate ivermectin dose.

@Franco, I believe that I have read of
one healthcare worker using it every 45 days, which maybe doesn't give complete coverage for maybe a 15 day window, but that plan seems reasonable to me.
When I finally pull the trigger, that's my general plan.....
Basically mostly covered with a rest for my liver.
Would you believe that my liver is a bit taxed? Yeah, me either, but it apparently is so say my labs. It's crazy.
I am in the healthcare field, and known exposure multiple times, no symptoms.
But at the FIRST sign things go wiggy.....I mean, I ALMOST channeled Sarah Jessica Parker last weekend after a known case of exposure and some asthma/bronchitis. Were it not for elevated liver enzymes, I most definitely would have taken it.
Unfortunately I am playing the long game and my potential for exposure isn't going to drop.
But I am waiting until I become slightly symptomatic, and then plan on staying on it I guess.
Planning and hedging my bets the very best I can.

Well yeah. There's no way for quite some time that you'll be able to get a shot, and worse, this presumes that nothing goes wrong. Which it might.

If something goes wrong with the vaccine, you're going to be suffering through the two medias (social and MSM) censoring any mention of it.

Yea, I'm sure we'll know about it here. I doubt it'll be something allowed to be discussed openly in the two medias until after it doesn't matter though.
The censorship is becoming noisome and I'm starting to lean toward the overt side of annoyed.

@Tickerguy. Has the Egyptian Study been printed anywhere yet? The article you post is a preprint and my husband refuses to accept its validity. He says that since it was preprinted over 6 months ago and that he can't find it anywhere currently that there must be something wrong with the study. He says that the article says the author forgot to include the double blind aspect of the study and that invalidates it in his opinion...any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!

Well at this point you want to look at the provinces in India that collapsed the transmission rate within 6 days.
I think a few tens of millions of people beat a small study.

@Tickerguy I completely agree with you on that but he says they don't count because they are due to the vaccinations that were being done prior to the switch to ivermectin or some such thing...and they were/are not done by scientific studies with controls, etc. etc. etc. so that makes them suspect as well...he has been following a blog called In the Pipeline that just did a big post on how Ivermectin is not effective (citing WHO guidelines for a strong part of his reasoning). As I think I've said before, he is very pro vaccine. I'm desperately trying to stop him from being vaccinated (even though we both think he had Covid about a month ago). The only saving grace right now is that vaccinations are not available for the general public yet in Sweden. I think I've convinced my two oldest kids (22 & 20) not to be jabbed and I will do everything in my power to keep my youngest two (18 & 14) from that as well, which is why I need all the evidence I can get to help convince him otherwise!

One Province in India relied on vaccination and remdesivier and saw cases skyrocket the others did not.

For what it is worth, I sent an email to Dr. Elgazzar, the chief Dr. of the Egytian study to see if he had been published and he said that it is almost done with peer review and that he will be sending me a copy when it is published and that it is included in the Cochrane Study that was done by the WHO...

I wonder if they realized they had no legal protection via PREPA so damn with what is low-cost and works ~ we need that legal protection.
