Franco -- read the whole paper.

They used a prophylaxis dose that is basically what the EVMS people recommend. Ivermectin is persistent; their reconnection is to dose monthly.

It is NOT a daily medication -- that would be a very bad idea as it will build up rapidly if you do that.

@August - My working hypothesis from examining the RNA is that it was likely an accidental release from the Wuhan lab, as SARS vaccine attempt in process that was not complete.

I said that originally back in February and March and nothing has changed my mind about it. It also wasn't "new" in January either; back in March and April my calculations from the RNA out of both here and Italy said that the LATEST it was plausibly circulating was late October, and likely before then. That's now been validated with the recent blood antibody sample numbers out of the US from early December 2019.

Yes, which is effectively identical to the protocol that is in the EVMS document.

There is a possibility that it is a bioweapon designed to cause infertility. Testicular bumps in men. The vaccine may create antibodies that also work against placental cells... Well that's the latest conspiracy theory.

@Loonster - I am FAR more concerned with the longer-term impact with regard to immune dysregulation given the side effect reports from the trials. The trials are simply too short to know and further, animals trials were short-circuited (it frequently shows up there too, IF you do them.)

Ditto for fertility; one of the reasons you do animal trials is to detect that, since small animals have MUCH shorter reproductive cycles.

This is from the Peak Prosperity site and is a little long, but Apparently there are doctors in the US that will prescribe ivermectin and or hydroxychloroquime

I would have any interested parties give the first person in the list a call (he's in MT) and if that doesnt work there is a list of other doctors in the US.

For those who are worried about the other ingredients in Ivermectin horse paste, I would like to repeat on this thread the advice I offered on a previous thread. Get the injectable ivermectin - it is over the counter and does not require a prescription. Inject it into bread, cupcake, or muffin, and eat it. We do it for our pigs all the time. We are similar enough to pigs that it should be effective and safe. You can buy it at Atwoods or Tractor Supply. I've seen news articles about a baby bust, this year and into next. The reason claimed is couples being cautious, but there is obvious pressure the other way given people at home, boredom, and the increase in alcohol consumption.

Have some additional thoughts but those seem best put in Tinfoil.

Manufacturer's Data sheet for the Durvet Ivermectin apple flavored paste:

https://www.durvet.com/wp-content/upload....

Downloads a 2 page pdf file ~570 KB.

Only lists Ivermectin as an ingredient.

Interestingly, under Warnings on the manufacturer's website it states:
Quote:

WARNING! NOT SAFE OR APPROVED FOR HUMAN USE, WHICH COULD CAUSE SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

COVID-19 ALERT CONCERNING DURVET IVERMECTIN PRODUCTS: WARNING! A number of Durvet products including Duramectin Equine Dewormer, Ivermectin Equine Dewormer, Ivermectin Sheep Drench, Ivermectin Pour On, Ivermectin Injection and Ivermectin Plus Injection contain the anti-parasite active ingredient Ivermectin. Despite media reports that Ivermectin could potentially be used to treat people with COVID-19, these products are not safe or approved for human use, which could cause severe personal injury or death.

Caps and bold in the original.

So given the actual mention of using this product for Covid treatment in the warning, maybe there's hope for our country after all. How many folks have to be out buying the stuff before an official warning statement gets posted to address the issue? Got to be more than a hand full one would think.

They love the extra sales. The warning is to try to absolve responsibility when somebody eats a dozen or so horse sized doses and actually manages to get to the overdose threshold.

@Jackrussell so is it Vail or Aspen? People in Aspen call Vail "the truck stop". Yes Vail is expensive. Aspen is in a different league. Clintons stay in Aspen in their friend's mansions.

Government can't realistically close Eagle county (Vail) to outsiders because of the highway which goes across Colorado and through Vail.

Routt county (Aspen) is in a different situation, particularly during winter. And they are going to try to close it to outsiders.
Many people visiting Aspen this winter simply went to multi-week and multi-month rentals. This is better for the wealthy because the slopes are less crowded.
Aspen can economically shut in. Vail not as much.

Mesa county started a Five Star program to open businesses last summer. It didn't slow the spread, but the Governor latched on to the program and may allow exemptions elsewhere if businesses follow the Five Star program.

It's nonsensical.

Just looked on Tractor Supply, and looked at the SDS (safety data sheets), and it is 1% invermectin, 59% 1,2-Propylene glycol and 40% 1,3-Dioxolan-4-ylmethanol, both non-toxic to humans and regularly used in our food and meds.

However, I ordered the paste as it is cheaper, but this injectable was ~$70+tax delivered to a local Tractor Supply store for I think a larger overall dosage/volume.

One question with using any of these verboten treatments (as per our fascist overlords) as a prophylaxis - if using it as such will you get the mild case still if you are exposed, ie, do you ultimately get the antibodies?

Very busy this week and didn't read the papers.

I'm sure I can deal with whatever "you're not vaccinated yet" restrictions are to come from the Feds when Biden or Harrass is president for a decent amount of time into 2021, don't see getting on a plane anytime soon (737 Max anyone, any takers?), but at some point, I'd hope that the actual science will kick in and if one can take an antibody test to prove you don't need to take the vaccine, that will also suffice....of course, having had the virus to get the antibody is key....of course, the cynic in my thinks that it will be one shoe fits all, if not on COVID-1984, then COVID-2021.

I was lucky enough to pop a WuFlu test positive. I can honestly say if this is what we have shut our economy down for, then we have been snookered. I developed the first symptoms last Wed. evening. By Saturday I was feeling pretty sick. No real fever, highest was 99.6. Mostly a very sore throat, cough, and muscle pain. Basically have used over the counter meds and vitamins. I am almost back to 100%. I have friends and family members who had worse cases, but have pulled through. Some took several weeks to get their strength back.

As long as I don't have a relapse I should be out an about by this coming Sunday. If this was worse I would have sent someone over to the Tractor Supply Store not too far away and had them pick up some Ivermectin. Hopefully I have kicked to WuFLu from my body and can get back to living. I really haven't completely stopped. We need to get ourselves back up an running.

And so it begins. American Airlines now requires a negative covid test in order to fly anywhere that has travel restrictions in place.

https://www.aa.com/i18n/travel-info/covi....

The "at home" test they offer costs the traveller $129 and you get to eat the associated costs of being positive. Their website doesn't say whether you can use your ticket after the 'quarantine period' of if you're forced to eat that cost and buy another ticket.

I expect this will spread to other airlines, likely as a requirement of receiving government bail out money.

The tests they link to are RT-PCR tests but I couldn't find any indication of what CT is used. So once again, the significant false positive rate will make things worse that what they are trying to prevent.

I imagine American Airlines will see a significant decline in revenue as a result of this, if not outright hostile passengers when they are denied transport for which they have already paid.

With all due respect Karl, I think you might be underestimating the ingenuity of scammers to make a buck or three via twisting the arms of passengers who want or need to travel via airlines. Your application of factual logic may not apply to a political situation.

Anyone want to take a guess at whether or not the AA testing organization is associated with someone having connections to those controlling the Covid narrative? It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see some committee chair in DC funnel taxpayer money to AA so that his wife's second cousin can skim a few million off the travelling public for 'required' testing.

I completely agree that as a financial business model the airlines are screwed, but if they can be leveraged to line the pockets of the powerful with cash at taxpayer expense then I suspect it is very likely that a way will be found to keep them in operation.

If nothing else, airline travel will be another carrot dangled to persuade the public to get vaccinated. That's the next stage of the program, IMHO.

I had CSpan on last night. There was a debate about exactly this subject. Some of the docs are a tweaked that effective treatments are being ignored. More so that a perfectly harmless and approve off-patent drug was not being given the funding for a very large trial.

I live in a ski town in Colorado currently. The county just went to "red" level lockdowns a week or so ago. Don't forget your fake mask! The county has had 270 some odd virus cases (CT number???? they refuse to release that even after a citizens' petition) out of 25,000 residents in 10 months. This is not a sane reason to close restaurants/bars etc. I have flown 80,000 miles since the second week of April, but I can't sit in a bar and swill a few pints?

Lockdowns everywhere and then they are partially lifted and the bug roars back. Big surprise. The overlords blame the wretched citizens "People just won't follow our guidelines." Yet there are masks everywhere. MAYBE it's the quidelines that aren't worth a runny shit? Which do you suppose is more likely?

It occurred to me the other day that these lockdowns are Einstein's definition of insanity.
