We must run to the ground exactly how Covid-19 got into the world.  The "oh it was a wet market" explanation doesn't wash and cannot be accepted with a wave of the hand whether true or not.  If that's where it came from then any nation that insists on allowing that sort of butchery, and I remind you that China has been the source of several nasty outbreaks, must be turned into North Korea so they can't spread the love to anyone else.  I remind you that it is extremely likely that HIV got into humans the same way; people hunting and eating chimps.  If these nations want to stew in their own juice, fine -- they can do it completely isolated from everyone else, forever.  Nobody goes in or out, and if you try we shoot you.

If the truth is as I suspect, that this virus was an accidental release and not entirely of natural evolution then that needs to be run to the ground too and the people responsible permanently ejected from any lever of power, anywhere -- by loading them into howitzers, including any member of government, any government, that covered it up.  Lying about that sort of thing with full knowledge that nations will literally crap all over themselves and destroy their economies is an open act of war and cannot be tolerated.  No, there are no apologies after the fact for such acts -- only retribution -- and said retribution must be world-wide.  Those nations that don't want to join in same can sit inside the circle with the damned -- forever.  Those businesses that do not immediately vacate all supply chain links to said nations must find themselves cut off.

If other nations think this is not deadly-serious and calls for that sort of retribution, well, the Czech Republic and Spain both were sold defective Covid-19 test kits -- by China.  Both sent them back, but how many bad results were returned before they figured it out?  Counterfeit capacitors is one thing -- medical tests during a pandemic is another.

I'm sure people will claim that such acts will lead to a war.  They might.  But the next time around that a virus like this gets out it may not be as benign as this one.  It could be as bad as SARS or Marburg, with no natural immunity and no hope of a working vaccine for years, if ever.  It would kill more people than both World Wars combined -- easily.  It would kill more people than the biggest butchers throughout history.  It will have very good odds of killing you and a quarter to half of everyone you know and love.

Is preventing that worth the risk of a war right here and now?

Yes, indeed it is.

The madness must stop right here, right now, today.

That madness, in no small part, is coming out of China with their practices in this regard and they must pay for this outrage.

The Chinese Communist Party, and all who support it, must be utterly and permanently destroyed.

This is how it all plays out. Global war with China.
Even in knowing that, it must be done.

All we need to know about China's actions is that they shut down Wuhan, no people in or out on the ground and still allowed international flights in and out. China wanted to prevent the spread to their population while they exported the virus around the world.

Why any country continues to do business with them is mystifying. Guess those bribes go over well.

China is about to destroy Australia economically for this type of thinking. China slaps the dog that bites the hand that feeds it.
There is so much decoupling that needs to be done but why bite the hand that feeds you cheap labor and profits? Lots of corporations and politicians desire this type of relationship.
Not to mention that China is itself like a virus in its approach to political, economic, and military conquest. It invades hosts using a myriad of maneuvers.
And as we know, it's difficult to kill a virus.

It's likely coming. On War Room Panic with Bannon, they were talking about intelligence reports on China having biological war programs based on ethnic lines. I don't know if that's good intelligence or not, but it is out in the public then you know what that means. Assuming it is true, conventional warfare is out of the question. Now you're talking nuke from orbit...or maybe rods from god...oh never mind we don't really have those.

China having biological war programs based on ethnic lines.

Of course they do! So do we! So does pretty much every nation that has a biowarfare program.

Why wouldn't they? It's one of the few things that we know how to do that will separate populations of people and leave one group safe while the other dies.

It's justifiably immoral to deal morally with an immoral entity.

Which, history tells us, doesn't work well if at all.

Is there differentiation? Yes. Is it material enough to use this way? Not really.

Yea, well, every country that thinks it has the ability, tries anyway.

Except israel. They wouldn't do that.

The virus is definitely a bat virus that was altered in a lab. Although even our media tried to spread the stupid bat soup theory the sequencing tech is everywhere. The results are beyond what a slow natural mutation would create. It appears China put a fake virus sequence in a database that was claimed to have come from a bat, but it was probably created in a text editor. This was to create the possibility that the new virus evolved naturally from the fake virus. Another certainty is that China did not develop the technology alone. Many countries were working with the Wuhan lab including the US. It's not an accident that the Event 201 pandemic simulation was based on a coronavirus. It was well known what these evil geniuses were playing around with in labs for many years. Dr Fauci helped fund it.

It would be very difficult to distinguish an accidental release from an intentional release designed to look like an accident. We may never know. This is why this type of research is very dangerous.

We should no longer have trade negotiations. We should have permanent tariffs that give manufacturers in this country a competitive advantage.

Of course as Karl pointed out many times if we fixed our health care system our costs would fall dramatically.

Like the song says...it's money that matters, in the USA"

That about sums it up. I think when this winds down, we're going to talk the talk somewhat, but not walk the walk. We'll let them walk on this one because it's worth too much money to our corps to not. So in the end, we'll get a little token mad and move on to continue to buy cheap Chinese crap. Not what I want either, but what I think will happen.

You don't have to have the virus determine who to kill if you can choose who to vaccinate.

Is this why there is such a big push to vaccinate and track? Are we taking biowarfare to the next level here?

In the history of the world, FIRE seems to be the only cleansing element for such a horrific occurrence.

There is a prophetic message given to a young Catholic nun in Akita, Japan, to-wit:

Third and the Last message on October 13, 1973:

". . . if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before.

Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead.

The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and the priests."

Seems pretty simple and pretty straight forward to me.

NOT just saying.

@Jwm - "or maybe rods from god...oh never mind we don't really have those."

Even if we did, they don't really work how science fiction authors like to think. It's more like a small, deadly, surgical strike enough to take out a building or a vehicle. Not a nuke.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

it is so interesting that people see the decoupling as insurmountable.

whether it be the Japanese, Chinese or Mexicans in the past developing people were brought up to speed to manufacture relatively complex good. The natural personality of the Japanese meant that they would achieve high standards of quality, the Chinese are a mixed bag depending upon the area and supervision and the Mexicans are probably very similar to the Chinese. A lot of assembly lines are run in Mexico from appliances to automobiles. Even Lenovo built their very high quality ThinkPads there for a while without major issues.

The above means that there is nothing stopping us from treating some of our broken, poor and vast unemployed areas as developing markets with the added benefit that a lot of municipal infrastructure is already in place even if somewhat run down and in need of maintenance.

i have driven through some of the old industrial towns of the Mid West, Northeast, etc. They have solid industrial buildings still in place, wide concrete roads and boulevards with sidewalks and complete rain and sanitary sewer systems. Their electrical grids, even when abandoned are still in place. All of this mid to late twentieth century technology is very high quality and built to last. Much of it can simply be turned on like a switch after audit and deferred maintenance is addressed. There are complete water systems and housing in place.

In the out-border developing world where we sent our industry the corporate interests had to build from scratch a lot of what we have right here, yet they considered it profitable risk.

We need to declare areas with the potential to be in border developing world style opportunities and declare them as some sort of economic prosperity zones. This will require relaxing some of the "rules" with regard to wage, employment law and taxation with permanency of factors so that businesses and individuals do not concern themselves with getting hit with the current book after investing and risking resources and time and effort.

This is speaking about something grand where things like monopolistic practices including monopolistic unions are banned. Welfare cannot exist to any degree in border of these areas save for perhaps emergency medical care. There can be nothing other than reasonable environmental and employment laws. No minimum wages, no quotas for special groups. Laws that are accepted are either enforced or readdressed. No property and uses taxes ever.

This is a proposition for a grand experiment and set of actions which will openly compete with areas living under the current system. It could save us and have a lot of equipment and expertise brought back here.

We will let our potential salvation continue to rust away. It s right under our noses.

It will never happen.

All great wrongs begin with a lie.

Karl, I agree but I don't see how we get the truth out of China. Too many US and world leaders don't want the truth. China doesn't want to tell the truth. I don't see the truth rising above the fiction, and the fiction is being written a thousand pages a day.

And here is the mystery. This virus is a cold bug to the healthy and a grim reaper to the morbidly sick. We know deaths in NY & PA are greatly elevated by officials deliberately infecting nursing homes. We know deaths are greatly elevated by blaming Covid for deaths due to other causes. What is the true count of COVID deaths?

In Minnesota just 8 of 683 deaths are healthy people. San Diego county is saying just six of 190 deaths are due to Covid.

We are dealing with very dishonest people in high places. The truth is stuffed in a box hidden in a far away attic.

This will lead to the true successor to the "just" modern war. The next WWII, not only in scale but in necessity. In the same way the German and Japanese facists had to be put down for the good of the world, so do the Chinese facists. Funny enough, though they call themselves commies, it's more fascist then anything else.

There was an interesting report about all cell phone usage stopping in/near the Wuhan lab for a period of time.

Even if an accident (which I think it was) was this bio-war research as in-- 1) make a disease 2) make a vaccine for ourselves 3) release 4) PROFIT!!
#1 Done. #2 Ooops...

Then the question becomes - vaccine for CCP? Chinese Army? Workers? Globalist friends (or are they useful IDIOT/TOOLS for the CCP? who's really running the show?) Bill, thanks for the research money, here, have a lead souvenir!

As the story is told..my great ancestor, a leader of the varangian guard, Harald Hardrada, flushed out the Moroccan's in Syracuse and Messing by attaching embers to the feet of birds which nested in the strongholds which they were trying to evict the invaders from. The birds flew back to their nests and set them on fire which started things ablaze.

I'm ok with setting the Chinese crooks here on fire and sending them back in the same fashion.

Whitehead, private equity firms had exactly your idea ready for Detroit. When GM went bankrupt in 2009 they saw it as an opportunity to clean the slate. With the existing infrastructure and few unions to have to fight private equity was looking at dozens of possible manufacturing startups.
With Obama's bailout of GM and the other big car companies, and with the unions still firmly in control private equity took flight like so many butterflies never to be seen again in Motor City.
