My wife qualified and ran Boston several years ago. The kids and I watched from a spot across the street but very near to where this group was. Running a marathon is serious business. There's way too much time and effort spent training, not to mention qualifying, to have your race ended early from turning an ankle trying to dodge a spectator on the course. Anyone who claims to be in a running group should know this and have respect for the course rules and the runners.
