Just To Repeat On Illegal Immigration...

USA Today has claimed Biden has "clamped down" on illegal immigration.

Various others, including Biden himself, have claimed that there are "new laws and authority" needed.

Both are false

8 USC 1324 makes clear that any assistance, harboring, transporting or similar acts by someone in America or under American jurisdiction is a federal felony and carries 10 years in prison for each person and each offense.  This law has been on the books since the 1950s and if an illegal alien harms someone in the US (e.g. commits a crime such as driving without a license or insurance and hits someone, commits a rape, robbery, etc.) the penalty is doubled and if they kill someone the penalty is a potential life sentence.

Our government -- both parties, the Democrats and Republicans -- have refused to arrest anyone under this law and enforce it no matter who has been in office.  Donald Trump didn't, Biden hasn't, Obama didn't, Bush didn't, Clinton didn't and so on.

Nobody would provide assistance, such as housing, medical care, money, jobs or anything else to an illegal immigrant if this law was enforced and people started going to prison for their handouts.  Nobody would be providing transportation inside the United States to an illegal immigrant either -- doing so knowingly or with reckless disregard for their status would get you 10 years in the slammer.

Illegal immigration would stop immediately if this law was enforced; if a legal immigrant or green card holder assisted an illegal they would go to prison and, now being a felon, there would go their green card status and they'd be deported also.

We have a problem with immigration in America for one reason and one reason only: Nobody will enforce long-standing law.

The same is true for many other areas of American society, including the cost of both education and medical care, both of which are driven up by illegal collusive practices made felonious more than 100 years ago in 15 USC Chapter 1.  I've written on this at great length -- and nobody cares.

We can either put a stop to this, with finality and by whatever means we must, or our nation and every person in it will continue to be harmed and ultimately will be destroyed by both the financial drain and direct criminal acts of these persons -- which includes every single member of Congress and law enforcement who refuse to do their legally-mandated jobs.

Don't kid yourself about what it will take either; only a return of fear to those who are supposed to do their jobs and are deliberately refusing will cause them to change their minds.  It has never been otherwise during human existence and never will be otherwise.  Either the criminal has to fear the consequence of their act or the law enforcement agent and politicians who refuse to enforce the law have to fear not performing their jobs and enforcing said laws.
