This discussion reminds me of when my dad had his first experience with a holter monitor. He went to the doctor's office and got all hooked up. He asked if there was anything special he should do while wearing the monitor and was told "Just do what you normally do." So he went home and got on the lawn tractor and mowed the lawn and about three acres of back field. He went back to the doctor's office the next day to get rid of the monitor and have the results checked. The cardiologist looked at the dada and freaked out. After finding out what my dad had been doing he hooked the monitor back up and sent him home again with some better and more explicit instructions.
