It's been a while since I posted so here's another observation:
I'm still working in healthcare, albeit unjabbed and chin-masking my way through the day. Just spent a few minutes in the check-in and lobby of our Cardiovascular clinic. Prior to last year you would very rarely see anyone younger than 70-ish waiting to be seen. Today I observed the majority of the patients were 30s to 50s and one girl appeared to be barely out of her teens.
Earlier today I was in our Infusion Center where patients receive chemo and other cancer treatments. Full house. Many more young people than in the pre-Vid days.
If I were a little more compassionate it would break my heart. Alas, it just pisses me off. This is why I cannot give any consideration to amnesty. ESAD.
