Actually, according to things I've read, the Ukrainians have taken a page from the Palestinians' playbook, placing guns and missile launchers at hospitals, schools and apartment buildings, precisely in order to cause the civilian deaths that they can then use to milk sympathy from the rest of the world.

This is a truly evil tactic, just as evil if being used by Ukraine as it is when used by Palestinians.

Granted, the Russian army is probably nowhere near as conscientious and meticulous to prevent civilian deaths as the Israeli army is, but still, if the Ukrainians are indeed using their own people as human shields, they have even more of the moral low ground than they did already.
