@Tickerguy, RE viremia -- I hear what you're saying, but since this is a novel virus, it is hard for me to have confidence about what is likely or unlikely. My point is, we may in the future discover pathways that c-19 undermines health that are not now obvious. Right now, I feel relief that I survived covid. Now I should have durable immunity. Although I read online today that those who had Alpha/Delta can still get Omicron, while those who get Omicron are also immune to A/D. I don't know if that's true. But anyway, doesn't the virus and/or spike protein cross the blood-brain barrier? I had massive headaches while I was ill. Could it be that the virus or spike has caused long-term neural damage that might not show up for a while? I guess only time will tell.
And related: does anyone know why loss of taste/smell is a common c-19 symptom? If not, why don't we know, after 2 years of "the worst pandemic in generations"? There are so many unanswered questions! And we (or at least some people like Fauci & Daszak) have the hubris to think we can fool around with nature and control a virus, or like Big Pharma scientists to think that they have mastered genetic engineering such that they can outsmart the virus with mRNA wrapped in nanoparticles? Reminds me of the story of Icarus....
