I'm not sure if this has been posted, but here's a clinical discussion regarding NAC.

and contrary to what was said in the video, NAC can be ordered on line without a prescription, say at WalMart:

Not sure if you have to have a prescription when you pick it up, but there doesn't seem to be any indication that it's required when you place the order in your Cart that a prescription is required.
