I'm beginning to hate the phrase 'follow the science' nearly as much as I fucking loathe the words diversity and inclusion now.

That's because "the science" is NOT Science. It's pseudoscience that has been co-opted by "progressives" in order to prop up whatever pet ideology they're trying to thrust upon the masses. It either consists of data that has been massaged or cherry-picked in order to give the illusion that it supports their cause. Either that or it's simply outright lies.

Politics and ideology have corrupted truth and knowledge, and that appears to now be true right across the board.
