I'm living in the UK at the moment and I agree with your sentiments about doctors. I moved earlier this year and have yet to register with a new GP. If you're not familiar with British medicine, you register with a doctors surgery (practice) to get primary care. They're the gatekeepers of the system. At this point, I do not trust them at all, and not being registered means that the NHS isn't contacting me constantly trying to get me to get the vaccine.
When I get back to the US, I don't intend to register for Medicare Part B either since I do not trust any medical personnel associated with the insurance system. I am looking at Direct Provider Care which I heard about recently. I've found the DPC Frontier website helpful, especially their map of DPC providers.
