I should add that there's a pretty notable and unusual increase in respiratory syncytial and parainfluenza viruses going on which are major drivers of hospitalization for young kids. So pediatric data could be reflecting this.
It is just infuriating that they cannot release data in a way that enables good judgement. The vaccines seem pretty unsafe and pretty unnecessary, but if it is indeed the case that hospitalization in Florida is concentrated among the unvaccinated and the patients were genuinely admitted because of COVID, then what's going around is far more virulent than what came before. Likewise it would be easy to report before/after vaccine D dimer test numbers that could help one to at least quantify the vaccine risks.
