*In terms of cv19 symptoms*
We received the first wave out of Wuhan - literally. We are hours travel distance from Wuhan. People poured over the border in their droves from Sept to early Dec 19. Symptomatically, this wave was closer to a very, very rough flu. It was speculated to be an influenza A strain by the WHO rep.
A second major wave landed towards the end of Jan 20. This brought severe headaches (migraines), stomach/bowel issues, fever, longlasting body aches. This behaved with symptoms now described for cv19.
I suspect that the strains that hit the US in early Jan 20, were already milder/mutated forms than what we experienced here, in the early days.
Over here, we typically experience flu from June, July, onwards - during the rainy season. China produces all kinds of junk, as a matter of routine.
