@Hobbled: Thomas Rentz, the lawyer with the EUA lawsuit and the 45,000 death CMS whistleblower, said in an interview last week that he thinks the vaccination rate is actually around 30%, but did not explain why.
CDC reports 'doses administered and reported' and uses that to get their percentage vaccinated--but it'd take more spelunking on the site to see exactly how that's getting reported. Is it possible some doses shipped are counted before being used? I doubt that is a big factor.
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker....FWIW, another CDC page shows that most of the vaccination action in the last couple of weeks is in people < 40 years old (at 56%). And in the race/ethnicity chart, Hispanics have been leading the way in the last couple of weeks.
