I keep wondering why the "vaccines" all rely on the spike protein... Especially the mRNA vaccines could quite easily be "programmed" to produce other virus proteins, no? Like the nucleosid protein; so why didnt anybody do that?
My 2 cents: the spike protein is the one that is exceedingly well researched; indeed the whole "gain of function" affair (i.e. using the spike for future medicinal purposes, of getting molecules into cells) points to this. See the now infamous Daszak quote,
