@Mangymutt, re black and brown people having a higher COVID death rate, I assumed it was due to poorer diet higher in carbs causing a higher percentage of obesity, heart disease, etc., but lack of Vitamin D could definitely also be a contributing factor.
Kinda' reminds me of all this BS you hear online about "X" food being the new "super food" over the past 20 plus years (first broccoli, then blueberries, then avocados, then pomegranates, then kale,...), so people rush out to get it while not understanding that we all need a balance of all the vitamins and minerals.
Also, I came to the conclusion that a good diet isn't about the good/healthy things you do eat, but rather the unhealthy, poisons/toxins you DON'T eat, whereas tons of people think "hey, I'll eat cake, donuts, and candies (all of which have artificial colors and flavors with carcinogenic effects) and then a floret of broccoli will make it all better. Sorry, doesn't work that way.
Would you feed that crap to your dog, cat, bunny, etc.? People would call PETA on you and say you're a horrible person, right? Then why the F do you feed that crap on a daily basis to yourself?
