For many people I suspect that the various lock downs were almost enjoyable at first as we all got to hide at home from personal as well as society's problems as a whole. IMHO much of the fear of the virus was feigned as convenient cover for an adult version of playing hooky.

Soon the psychological, social, and financial effects began to set in resulting in what we are seeing now. Once the true costs of the hoax are evident just maybe we'll be surprised at the backlash.
