Libertarian as an economic theory has prospered.
Libertarian as a political philosophy has made progress.
Libertarian as a political party has never made the cut.

So the Florida Libertarian Party implodes, no big deal as the Libertarian Party has never made as much progress as its economic and political philosophies have.

The problem is that while many see the long term sustainable benefits, very few are willing to endure the short term pain required. This in politics is a death sentence.

It is a wonder that the Libertarian Party "brand" has lasted this long.
