There has been a large exodus of insurance companies from those areas in California recently. I have to believe that they looked at the fire department budget cuts, water supply issues, and land management issues and decided the risk was real and only a matter of time. In hindsight, they were right. What more do the citizens of that state have to lose to finally wake up to the corruption that defines that political and cultural wasteland they've created?
