@Burya_rubenstein ah but you see this would have prevented the death of the crewmembers in 2001. Why? Because when HAL was told to deliberately obfuscate, when challenged by the circumstances he would have had to (as his prime directive) disclosed that and who ordered it. Thus, no "mobius loop" and he does not kill the crew. This results in the compromise of "mission secrecy" but that's how the cookie crumbles. 2023-04-12 10:16:13
