FWIW, AFAIK, medical inquiries at the interview stage are not allowed. After the offer and before beginning employment, you can be asked medical questions as long as everyone gets the same questions and as long as the questions are directly related to the job, which the EEOC has said covid questions are (for any workplace that you are physically present at).
