What is going to happen when all the Karens come down with WImPS (Weakened IMmune Performance Syndrome) this winter when all the seasonal viruses start circulating and their immune systems missed last season due to them hiding under the table? We know muscles and even bone will atrophy without stress. I suspect their immune systems will respond in a similar manner. The 30 pounds they put on during their voluntary confinement won't help either. And what is going to happen as a result of the massive disruption (due to humans not going outside, gathering with other humans, naturally spreading viruses, etc.) of the viral equilibrium that has existed for a long time between humans and other species that act as reservoirs for human viruses and vice versa? Maybe nothing. But maybe something very, very bad. We are going to find out. Mother Nature bats lasts, as KD says. 2021-07-22 20:30:33
