That's why my newest vehicle is a 2010 Tundra that I on ly drive when I need to move something.
Other than that I stick with BMW 2010 or older, as I developed a skill to fix everything on these, including making keys with Chinese programming tools bought on AliExpress or Ebay. Works most of the time.
Tried looking for the engine tightening torque on a BMW F10 2012 550i and could not find it. Was led to BMW website that wants, $30/day, 250/month or 2500/yr subscription to see such data. Everyone around the web was told to remove such content by BMW. Data for cars 2010 or older is still available on public websites. Subscription model is becoming a the norm in all areas of consumption. We will be renting everything new.
