I do not know. Would I personally try it? Hell yes, since the odds of it hurting me are extremely low. But would I have high hopes in this sort of circumstance? Not if this is the classic problem that appears to be the pattern with these situations; low platelet count AND elevated d-Dimer (clotting.) There IS some anecdotal information (and that's ALL it is right now!) that immunoglobulin may be of help with the platelet depression. If you get hit this way it's a damnable problem because you get the paradox of BOTH a clotting disorder AND the risk of severe hemorrhage at the same time. Obviously doing things that help one can potentiate the other which is VERY nasty. 2021-05-02 23:13:16
