I feel it's both necessary and important to pick at any leader. People need to know their leaders failings as much as their triumphs.
Where I was going with that is I didn't think it was a failing; and people have had ZERO problems the last 50 years of cherrypicking what they don't like about the evil white men who founded this country.
Washington was a phoenix like Cincinnatus. He had to do what he had to do in order to destroy the old world and guide the red-headed Jeffersons into the new world.
Overall, he accomplished more in one lifetime than most of us will in 10. I have often thought to myself (no shit): "Thank you, sir, for providing my children with this beautiful idea. And thank you, sir, for tending to the needs of Virginia."
