Is on oxygen full time because he spent his life smoking cigarettes. Still does. Recently had four heart attacks in one day and now has a pace maker courtesy of a total luck shot that a cardiologist was in their small town that day.

He is one of the reasons that medicare is so high. Love my dad, but his quality of life has tanked. As long as he's hooked up to the high cost of medical care he's probably got another 5-10 years of crappy existence to go.
