Well it seems that expecting a contract i've paid into forty years to be honored makes me a greedy troll of some sort.

Your entire basis for 'reality' in your quote is faulty and flawed on multiple levels.

I understand that YOU BELIEVE those things, but that does not make them true.

To Whit:

1) It was never a 'contract'. You believe it was/is. It wasn't/isn't.
2) You did NOT 'pay into' anything. You believe you did. You didn't.
3) You did not pay for 40 years. It was a tax and it was all spent within 2 weeks of your pay check being cut.

The money is gone, and it's not coming back and you are NOT taking it from me or my [much] younger relatives.

Plan on getting nothing from SS/M/M/SSDI.

Chances are good that we will all get anywhere from 40% to 80% of what your current statement 'promises is yours', but planning for The Big Zero is wise.

It's gone.
It's not 'mine'.
It never was.
It isn't in 'my account'.
No such thing exists.
We were all lied to.
We were all scammed.
It's gone.

Deal.
