On anything that has a drain and a fill plug, remove the fill plug FIRST. If you drain it and then fubar the fill plug for any reason, or it won't unscrew, you are screwed.

Fumoto valves in place of oil pan drain plugs also, FTW.

Karl, I know on the oil. Today's shit isn't the Penzoil or Quaker State of old (paraffin junk). I'm just stubborn about certain things. Will I have wasted a few hundred on oil over the course of my life by 3K changes? Probably. But I'm ok with that.
