I can hardly believe how much this feels like 1999 again. All you have to do is replace AI with Internet and the story is 99% identical.

The biggest differences I see are: one, housing is unaffordable and could pop as well; two, the government's deficit and debt load are also troublesome; and three, inflation is troubling making printing as a response problematic.
