The current and previous regimes have a record of non-enforcement of laws that they don't like and a policy of selective enforcement to oppress political opponents. If the SC decision is favorable for the Jan.6 protestors, the government will ignore it and work around it to make life miserable for those whom it hates. I don't see any legal relief from the tyranny.
