Karl, as of August 2020, there were 10 engineers in the House and only 1 in the Senate. Quite underrepresented, particularly when one considers that the current Secretary of Energy holds a BA & JD? I don't know who in the hell was so stupid to place a non-engineer in such a position. It would be akin to making Helen Keller a flight instructor. Just how obscenely stupid (and perhaps narcissistic) does one have to be to make the "top dog" for ENERGY POLICY a freakin' LAWYER?
I'll raise the stakes, and suggest that not only do we hold said person personally responsible, but HER BOSS as well, as HE SELECTED HER FOR THAT POSITION.
