Our own military has become infused with that crap -- pronouns before merit among other pieces of stupidity.

Now it has cost us an aircraft and very nearly cost us the people in it: We've gotten so stupid that even when not in an active war we fired on, and shot down, our own airplane.

IFF is supposed to be a thing, you know.  Its kind of important not to fire on your own dudes.  In a high-contact war it does happen, but we're not in one of those and, you see, IFF is far less important than where someone sticks their dick (or whether they liked having one or not) and, it is now clear, IFF was not something to be determined before you shoot a half-million dollar missile at an airplane.

Don't worry folks, our people would never "accidentally" nuke our own city -- because they're too stupid to accurately read the coordinates punched in and realize where they are.

Oh wait......
