Fully support using employment verification to identify illegals. BUT.. Im totally opposed for using state issued business licences as a back door way of enforcing it. Business licences shouldnt be a privilege, they should not even exist. Do you get outraged when you read of a kids lemonade stand getting shut down because they dont have a licence? When I feel the same about licensing crap for part time sidelines, full time small operators and even for large corporations. So just raid those suspected of hiring illegals and punish for that but leave licensing out of it. 2023-01-19 08:39:38
