How will these demographic changes effect national ,state , retirement plans. Thudding early will save soc sec money but fewer will be paying in. So is it a wash ? My schoolteacher wife has a small state pension for 35 years of work. Our state pension plan is already underfunded massively . It is also geared toward top earners and double dippers, there is a lot of fat to cut, but the pigs are mostly legislators so it wont start at the top. My son is a timber buyer , unvaxed , Weyerhaeuser rqd the vax, but did not enforce the rule. The guys he works in the woods had a pretty uniform response when told to get the vax , it sounded a lot like fuck that shit 2023-01-14 12:23:56
