My first set of thoughts after reading this post were on the instances where the Israelites were directed in the OT to wipe out entire tribes of people (men, women, children, every living creature...). One of the better explanations/justifications for these actions has to do with the notion that these tribes made sacrifices to demons (child, virgin, etc.) and participated in rituals involving sex where the "king" or leader of the tribe would take on the persona of whatever god (demon) they worshipped before having sex with temple prostitutes, etc. The premise is that these actions led to the creation of offspring who were no longer fully human... They were the "giants". Perhaps that "spiritual" ritual had a direct impact on the DNA of those involved such that the only way to stop the spread, and the most humane thing to do for all, was complete eradication. Question on these jabs is what is the sacrifice that is being offered in their making and where is the altar for said sacrifice? 2022-09-02 10:43:29
