Interesting discussion on how to best represent civilians within this ever expanding democracy. We clearly saw that there are some decent people left in both state and federal levels of government over the past couple of years, but there appears to be an epidemic of disinformation. In both the financial, political and internet realm that has come together to destabilize the country and its direction. While many are focused on finding someone to blame the situation gets worse and the solutions more distant. When the dollar takes precedence over morality and our investment in the constitution we have a crisis as ones intent becomes suspect. In short the founders were able to deal with the disinformation and were protected by the isolation of the population and the continent. The old saying the bigger they are the harder they fall comes to mind when looking at the expansion of world economies and political systems. Vaccinated or not no one will be immune to the choice our leaders (financial cronies)make. Covid, election turmoil and the Russian war in Ukraine are illuminating the fragility of the nation and the globe. Some will fall harder than others. Trying to figure this out can be dizzying. We currently have a country that has strong beliefs in upholding and protecting the rights of the unborn and the purchasing power of people set to kill our youth. How can one even take sides in this kind of mayhem. Not sure these issues can ever be resolved and so I am not expecting things to become more United any time soon. We will save a bundle on cutting the cost of abortions and make a fortune taxing the selling of weapons which will help the economy. But I am not sure we are protecting our quality of life. Seems like the perfect time to be looking at constitutional amendments for answers. 2022-07-14 22:49:43
