It was over as soon as assistance was hesitated. The German Marders soon to be junked, were held back due to some sort of excuse. There is no country that will fight Russia west of Poland. Britain can look across the channel to the new, ever expanded Russia after all the European states become puppets. The US is a ghastly ally. They destroyed Hungary and Czechoslovakia late in WWII by refusing their surrender, throwing them to the Soviets. They destroyed Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, simply through prevarication. They offered up Korea and negotiated a split after WWII. Then of course there were the abandonments of the Bay of Pigs, Saigon, Kabul. I must be missing a few. We are shit. Hang our heads in shame.
