Michelle Obama is not very bright. She got into and through Harvard as a "diversity" candidate and was hired by a big law firm (I don't know which one) on the same basis. She quit about 8 months in because she apparently could not handle the work. That's when she got that "diversity" officer HR job at that Chicago hospital. I have heard (and seen video evidence) that she is somewhat "ghetto" in her personality and behavior. She is not a credible candidate and I think the democratic party leadership is well-aware of this.
