But they mandated it because the school district's LAWYERS advised them to. If someone got sick and sued the school, the school could say, "hey, we were in 100% compliance with the governor's guidelines." And that would get them off the hook. Solzhenitsyn said in 1978 that as much as he loved the freedom of America, he was grieved that our country was overly litigious, everybody suing everybody over every damn little thing.
