@tickerguy If the CDC link is accurate, then the spikes will generally not be floating around free, but given that the particles are likely taken up by epithelial cells, they would still be projected out from the cell membrane into capillaries, causing clots. If that's true, then this could cause the clotting phenomena, but without free floating spikes at least some of the other potential pathologies are less likely? 2021-05-02 16:05:35
