I voted for Trump in 2016. My attitude toward that was more of less what was echoed over at Western Rifle Shooters: "He's not my candidate...he's my choice of murder weapon". Specifically toward the "establishment." Not that he was going to take them out, but that they would be willing to destroy themselves to get rid of him. Ahab just couldn't resist getting that whale. I'll vote for him in 2020. And not for MAGA or other silliness. My reason is pretty simple: every calorie they spend fighting him is a calorie they don't have to fuck with me and mine. I don't need to kill the dinosaur. It's already dying. I'm just go to stay out of the way of it's tail as it thrashes about on the ground. 2020-07-01 13:56:22
