Be aware folks that dose is a big issue with any drug and this one is no exception. UNLESS you have a specific medical issue that raises your risk IMHO you're nuts to be doing anything treatment-wise on SUSPICION (but not proof) of infection. Simply put all drugs have risks and you're trading one risk for another. Unless your odds of getting fucked by this bug are material there's no reason to do anything other than let the bug run its course. Now if you're a care provider (and thus could become a vector to seriously-compromised individuals in size) then the math is different. Ditto if you're diabetic, morbidly obese, etc. Ivermectin is interesting in that it appears it is effective even after replication has really gotten going. HCQ would not be expected to be, because it inhibits replication. Exactly how Ivermectin works is not something I understand well; I was tossed it as a possible treatment very, very early in my reporting on this thing, and couldn't come up with a mechanism of action that made sense. However, it appears it is now being validated as working and all that matters in the end is that it DOES work, not how. There is some very interesting study work being done with it in places like India, where cheap is a big deal and the early reports I've seen are way into the realm of statistically-significant, and not by a bit either.
