Hi Tickerguy, long time lurker (10 years+) I know going low carb changes the metabolic reactions in your body. From memory, roughly 50% more energy per oxygen molecule - with the trade off of less peak energy. Is this correct? and if so, is it taken into account with your numbers above? Ie being low carb/keto makes you more efficient with the available oxygen? I know that when I am low carb, I feel much more efficient with my oxygen and less likely to get out of breath. Is this just a placebo type effect? 2020-03-08 08:24:49
